VANCOUVER, BC – R&B Brewing has announced details of the fourth release in its Mount Pleasant Series, named for the East Vancouver neighbourhood where the brewery has been located since opening in 1997.
Red India Pale Ale is a 7% abv and 70 IBU ale described as follows:
The Red IPA is a single hop beer using Australian Vic Secret hops, with origins that come from the Victoria region of Australia. From the same family as Topaz hops, this varietal pungent hop, with fruit expressions, adds depth and flavour. Notes of mango, pineapple and passionfruit are palatable while the malt profile is a rich, toasted caramel character.
Red IPA is available now in a limited run of 650 ml bottles and on draught while supplies last.
In conjunction with the new beer release, R&B has announced that its new taproom will be opening by mid-February, featuring 12 taps, 2 cask engines, local wine and cider, and hand-made pizzas. For more details, see the R&B Brewing Facebook page.
