VICTORIA, BC – Spinnakers Gastro Brewpub has announced that its popular Valentine’s-themed seasonal beer is about to return for another year.
Chocoholic Milk Chocolate Stout is a 7.75% abv sweet stout brewed with Sirene chocolate husks and lactose, and described as follows:
There is more to the relationship between chocolate and beer than tastes and indulgences, both being prehistoric from an ancient past. It is impossible to know which came first but here we present these two fermented foods in a modern relationship, designed to last until the last drop.
This year’s edition of Spinnakers Chocoholic will be launched at Spinnakers on Saturday February 13th, with free samples being offered throughout the day. It will be available on draught at the brewpub, and in 650 ml bottles for take-home sales.
