OAKVILLE, ON – Cameron’s Brewing has announced a “new brand evolution” that will introduce a radical new look for its “Barley Man” logo and all of its beers, starting with three core brands.
The trio of beers – Ambear Red Ale (previously Cameron’s Auburn Ale), Captain’s Log Lager (previously Cameron’s Lager), and Cosmic Cream Ale (previously Cameron’s Cream Ale) – have new branding and packaging created by Toronto’s Cactus Designs. They also have new promotional descriptions, as noted below.
Ambear Red Ale:
The wild black bear has a lot in common with our Ambear Red Ale. Both are complex, intelligent and incredibly unique. This West Coast style ale uses caramel malt and citrusy Cascade mountain hops to create layers of delicious depth. Enjoy the generous hop aroma and smooth maltiness, followed by a tasty finish.
Captain’s Log Lager:
Since 1836, many a Captain has used Oakville’s first lighthouse as a guiding light during their evening voyages. A true Oakville landmark, the first lighthouse keeper was also the town’s first tavern owner. Today, Captain’s Log is brewed with only the finest two-row malted barley and cold aged for a smooth, refreshing taste. Enjoy it while relaxing by the lake or after dark and make this a day worth an entry in your logbook.
Cosmic Cream Ale:
On clear nights, it seems as if you can reach out and touch the stars. Cosmic Cream Ale is the perfect companion for idyllic, curious nights beneath the constellations. Brewed with a cosmic blend of European hops for a fruity and floral backbone. This ale is fermented warm then laid to rest at a cold lagering temperature. The result is an elegant golden ale which is crisp, balanced and refreshing.
The redesigned 473 ml tall cans of the three beers will be launched next week, and will be available at select LCBO locations and the Cameron’s retail store.
