POWELL RIVER, BC – Townsite Brewing has announced the upcoming release of the latest vintage of its annual spring seasonal brand.
Townsite Charleston is a 9% abv Belgian Triple that was originally released in 2012 as the first in a series of beers named after The Hulks, a group of decommissioned ships that form a floating breakwater in the Powell River near the brewery. It subsequently returned in 2014 as a now-annual release.
Brewmaster Cédric Dauchot’s take on this classic style is described as a “dry, fruity, hoppy, golden blond ale (that) will keep you warm AND quench your thirst.”
Townsite Charleston will be released on March 1st in a limited run of 650 ml bottles, available at the Townsite retail store and select private liquor stores in British Columbia.
