WINDSOR, ON – Walkerville Brewery has announced details of a new seasonal brand that will be released later this week, as well as a corresponding contest.
Irish Beard Irish Red Ale is a 4.8% abv and 20 IBU red ale described as “very mild and easy drinking, complemented by a subtle fruity character from the English yeast.”
Irish Beard will be debuting at the Walkerville taproom and retail store this Friday March 11th. On the same day, the brewery will be launching a Craft Beard Contest, with entrants in the Windsor-Essex area invited to post photos of their “epic beard” (real or fake) on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #WalkervilleCraftBeard for the chance to win a Walkerville Brewery prize pack.
