MONTREAL, QC – Eater Montreal reports that Microbrasserie Pit Caribou, a brewery on Quebec’s Gaspé Peninsula, will soon be opening an offshoot pub in Montreal.
Set to be located at the corner of Rachel and Mentana in the Plateau Mont-Royal neighbourhood, the pub will take over the space that previously housed the bar Les Pas Sages.
The report doesn’t make it clear if brewing will be taking place on-site, or if beer will be shipped in from the main brewery in the village of Anse-à-Beaufils. Either way, a selection of Pit Caribou brands should be on tap when the bar opens in May.
