TORONTO, ON – Details have been announced for the 2016 edition of Brewers Plate Toronto, an annual charity event that brings together some of Ontario’s top chefs and craft brewers in a celebration of local and sustainable food and drink.
Taking place on Wednesday May 18th at the Corus Quay (25 Dockside Drive, Toronto), this year’s edition will benefit War Child, a charity that focuses exclusively on assisting children affected by war around the world.
Presented by sponsors 102.1 The Edge, Q107 and the Ontario Craft Brewers, Brewers Plate 2016 will feature a rock’n’roll theme, with attendees encouraged to wear their favourite concert or band t-shirt.
Breweries participating in this year’s event will include All or Nothing, Beau’s, Henderson, Great Lakes, Cameron’s, Descendants, Sawdust City, Old Tomorrow, Wellington, Muskoka, Broadhead and Steam Whistle.
Food pairings will be offered by chefs including Steffan Howard (Palais Royale Ballroom), Kevin Prendergast (Tundra Restaurant), Luis Valenzuela (Carmen Cochina Espanola), Bruce Wood (Beau’s) and many more.
