TORONTO, ON – A release event for a new book by a Canadian chef and a Danish brewer who are behind a pair of acclaimed drinking and dining establishments in Brooklyn will be taking place in Toronto later this spring.
Food & Beer by Nova Scotia-born chef Daniel Burns and renowned “gypsy brewer” Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø of Evil Twin Brewing – the respective masterminds behind the restaurant Luksus and the bar Tørst, which share a space in Brooklyn’s Greenpoint neighbourhood – will be published this May by Phaidon.
The duo, along with co-author Joshua David Stein of the New York Observer, will be in Toronto on Monday May 30th for an on-stage conversation and Q&A at the George Brown College Centre for Hospitality and Culinary Arts.
Tickets are available online for $75, which includes a copy of the book ($60 value), admission to the main event, and a reception and book signing featuring select beers from several Ontario craft breweries.
