PENTICTON, BC – Cannery Brewing has announced that a beer originally released last spring as part of its Artisan Creations series of art-inspired limited edition brands will be returning for another run.
Stumbling Goat Maibock is a 6.5% abv strong lager that Cannery co-owner Ian Dyck describes as follows:
Our new Stumbling Goat is a strong, dry-hopped Maibock. It is a full-bodied German-style lager created with classic German malts and noble hops. We launched this malt-forward beer at the Okanagan Fest-of-Ale and we received fantastic feedback from craft beer lovers. It is a full-flavoured lager with a surprising hop complexity that makes it a very interesting and drinkable beer.
As with all Artisan Creations releases, the label features “an artistic creation designed to match the artistry of the beer.” In this case, it’s a stylized image of a mountain goat by local artist, designer, professor and Governor General’s Gold Medal award winner Myron Campbell.
Cannery Stumbling Goat Maibock will be released Friday April 1st, and will be available in 650 ml bottles at private liquor stores and on tap at select restaurants throughout B.C. while supplies last.
