OTTAWA, ON – Ottawa Beer Events reports that Dominion City Brewing has a pair of limited edition beers due out in the next couple of weeks.
Returning to the bottle shop on April 7th is the occasionally available Morningside Blonde Ale on Coffee Beans, a 4.75% abv ale described as follows:
Morningside is an American Blonde Ale brewed with citrusy Ontario-grown hops and complemented with distinctive Ethiopian Yirgacheffe whole coffee beans. The result is a clean, crisp but robust beer with massive citrusy/floral aroma and loaded with notes of grapefruit, black currant, and toasted coconut.
Coming a week later will be For Whom Dubbel Tolls, a new 7.35% Belgian-style strong ale with the following notes:
Brewed in collaboration with Brothers Beer Bistro, our Belgian-style dubbel features toffee malt complexity and dried fruit notes. The beer is enhanced by a house-made syrup prepared by the Brothers kitchen with subtle hints of cranberry, apricot, raisin and rum.
For Whom Dubbel Tolls will make its first appearance at the East Meats West event at Brothers Beer Bistro on Sunday April 10th, with bottles to be available in the Dominion retail store on Thursday April 14th.
