VANCOUVER, BC – R&B Brewing has announced details of the latest release in its Mount Pleasant Series, named for the East Vancouver neighbourhood where the brewery has been located since opening in 1997.
R&B White India Pale Ale is a 6.5% abv and 50 IBU ale brewed with “natural pear juice [and] a Belgian yeast strain alongside Centennial, Cascade and Galaxy hops producing primary flavours of citrus, pear and orange.”
R&B brewer Rod Hughes further describes the beer:
We decided to brew this beer, as we were looking for something interesting and refreshing but with full flavour for Spring. We had been using this yeast strain (Belgian Ardennes) for a while and recognized that it goes very well with bright and fruity hops. Carly, part of our brewery team, had the idea to use pear juice concentrate and I think that really makes the beer stand out.
R&B White India Pale Ale is will be available in a limited run of 650 ml bottles and on draught while supplies last.
