OTTAWA, ON – Kichesippi Beer Co. has announced that a beer originally released in 2012 to mark the brewery’s 2nd anniversary is now back with a new name that commemorates a part of Ottawa history.
Kichesippi Car 696 is a 6.3% abv Maibock named after one of the fleet of streetcars that operated in Ottawa from 1891 to 1959. This particular streetcar went into service in 1917, and is currently being restored for its 100th anniversary next year.
Car 696 will be available in 473 ml cans exclusively at the Kichesippi retail store until mid-June.
