TORONTO, ON – Following several media and industry preview events, Toronto’s Bandit Brewery is now open in soft launch mode, with a grand opening planned for this coming Saturday May 7th.
Founded by co-owners Shehzad Hamza and Stephane Dubois, Bandit is a spacious brewpub located in a former auto body shop at 2125 Dundas St. W. in Toronto’s west end Roncesvalles neighbourhood.
Eight core beers from head brewer Ben Morris are currently on tap, including Farmed & Dangerous saison, Smoke On The Porter smoked porter, Cone Ranger IPA, and more. Seven rotating seasonals are planned to be added soon, along with five more taps featuring beers from other local breweries.
Beer sales are limited to draught at the bar for now, but a retail shop selling bottles will be added at a later date.
The food menu is focused on snacks that go well with beer, including cheese and charcuterie boards, fresh pretzels, beer-battered cheese curds, and fried chicken tails with white Alabama BBQ sauce.
