HALIFAX, NS – CBC News reports that Halifax craft beer bar Stillwell has found a new location for its outdoor beer garden after losing a bid to run it for a second year on the city’s waterfront.
Co-owner Chris Reynolds tells CBC that work is now underway to set up the beer garden in a vacant lot near the corner of Spring Garden Road and South Park Street.
As with last year’s installation, the bar will offer a rotating selection of Nova Scotia craft beers on tap, and a menu of snack food items prepared in a small on-site kitchen. New this year will be an adjacent dairy bar operated by Manual Co.
The Stillwell beer garden is expected to open by June 1st, and will remain in operation “until the weather tells us to stop”.
