CALGARY, AB – Village Brewery has announced details of of a new BBQ-friendly beer brewed in honour of Father’s Day.
Village Father is a 5.9% abv smoked beer with the following description:
Fathers can’t resist the manly scent of wood smoke. It’s what draws them to barbecues and bacon. Long ago, rugged Bavarian dads would hew wood, draw water and roast malt over open fires, just so they could quaff hearty ales with a hint of smoke. Save your pop that trouble. Treat him to this rich, authentic Rauchbier, with malt tempered over hickory and black cherry embers in local smokehouses. Then fire up the barbecue.
Village Father is available now in 650 ml bottles at the Village Brewery retail store and select liquor outlets in Calgary and area.
