MINDEN, ON – The Minden Times reports that Boshkung Brewing will soon be expanding into a second location, and it’s in a building that locals are already used to visiting to get beer.
The 3,000 square foot building on Water Street in downtown Minden has been home to the community’s Beer Store location for 35 years, but it will be relocating over the next few weeks, and Boshkung is expected to take possession of the property in mid-July.
Boshkung co-owner Terri Mathews-Carl tells the paper that after two years of business, the brewery has outgrown its current location in the basement of Rhubarb, the restaurant that she and husband Christoph Carl run in nearby Carnarvon.
The new location will feature a brewery, retail store and tasting room when it opens later in the summer, with food service planned to be added next summer. The original brewery in Carnarvon will also remain in operation.
