CALGARY, AB – More than a year after it was first announced, and a couple of months after pouring preview beers at a local beer festival, an ambitious new brewpub is on the verge of opening on Calgary’s Red Mile.
Trolley 5 Restaurant & Brewery is being launched on Monday June 27th by partners Wayne Leong, Ernie Tsu and PJ L’Heureux, all veterans of the city’s bar and hospitality industry.
Located at 728 17th Avenue SW, the 15,000 square foot venue features a 200-seat dining area, 70-seat bar, 30-seat private dining room, tap room, and patio, all spread over four storeys.
The house-brewed beer line-up will include brands such as The Conductor Beltline Lager, Derailed Pale Ale and First Crush White IPA, plus a Dunkelweizen brewed in collaboration with Last Best Brewing, and Cowboy Crusher Stampede Session Ale created with Parallel 49 Brewing.
