CHILLIWACK, BC – CBC News reports that Molson Coors Canada is putting plans in motion to build a new facility in Chilliwack to replace its Vancouver plant (pictured above).
The historic Vancouver brewery was sold last autumn, and the company noted at the time that it would be looking elsewhere in the province for a location to build a new “state-of-the-art” facility.
A spokesperson has confirmed that “Molson Coors Canada is working through the application phases on a preferred proposed location out in Chilliwack as the location for a new brewery out here in British Columbia.” Further details on the location and expected timelines for the project have yet to be announced.
