FREDERICTON, NB – Grimross Brewing has announced that it has signed a lease agreement on the unit next to its current space at 600 Bishop Drive, and has started work on an expansion that will see it double its footprint to 8000 square feet.
Brewery founder Stephen Dixon writes the following:
This expansion is necessary to accommodate the growing demand for our taproom and need for more space in our brewery and warehouse. Our current space is getting a little cramped as we increase the number of fermenters, which means more fermenters, more grain, more kegs and more cans. This new space will allow us to expand our warehouse space and dedicate more space to increasing production.
The expansion will happen in two phases with phase one focusing on expanding the taproom and warehouse space. We regularly host music talent in our taproom and the new space will allow for bigger acts and more customers. Phase two will see more fermentation capacity and patio overlooking a very scenic marshland.
