HALIFAX, NS – Garrison Brewing has announced the return of a seasonal beer that scored a gold medal at the Atlantic Canadian Beer Awards in its inaugural appearance last year.
Originally brewed for the 2015 edition of the Halifax Oktoberfest, Rise ‘n’ Stein Hefeweizen is a 5.5% abv traditional German-style wheat beer that is described by the Atlantic Canada Beer Blog as being “fermented using a traditional Hefe yeast for notes of clove and banana on the hazy beer with a pillowy white head.”
Rise ‘n’ Stein is available now at the Garrison brewery store and private liquor stores in Halifax, and will be on shelves at select NSLC locations later this month.
