TORONTO, ON – The organizers of Canada’s first competition for female homebrewers have announced entry details for the inaugural edition.
The Bush League has been established to “encourage more women homebrewers to enter competitions, and participate more in homebrewing generally.” Based in the Toronto area but open to women from across the country, the competition is accepting registrations and entries until August 5th.
The BJCP-certified judging will take place on August 14th at Rainhard Brewing, with an awards ceremony to follow on a date and at a location to be announced.
Sponsors and supporters of the competition include Brew North, BRFC/Bearface Design, Escarpment Labs, Folly Brewing, Junction Craft Brewing, Niagara College Teaching Brewery. Rainhard Brewing Company, and Short Finger Brewing Company.
