TORONTO, ON – Toronto-area homebrewing club GTA Brews has announced details of its second annual edition of a competition for amateur brewers.
Brew Slam 2016 is open to homebrewers from across the country, with entries to be evaluated by a panel of judges based on BJCP style guidelines.
Brewers are welcome to enter as many beers as they like in the competition, with no more than one in each sub-style, at a cost of $7 for the first entry and $6 for each additional. Registration can be made online until September 24th, and beers must be dropped off or delivered by the same deadline.
Judging will take place on September 30th to October 2nd at Amsterdam Brewery in Toronto, and winners will be announced soon afterwards, with the awards being counted towards the national Brewer of the Year standings.
