HILLGROVE, NS – The second brewery to launch this year in Digby County in Nova Scotia’s Annapolis Valley region will be opening its doors to the public today at 11:00 AM.
Roof Hound Brewing has been founded by Les Barr, a brewer and accomplished chef who recently competed on MasterChef Canada.
The Roof Hound facility includes a 40 seat restaurant serving pub food such as sandwiches and pizzas, and a selection of house brewed beers on tap that will also be available in growlers.
In a CBC News feature that ran earlier this year, Barr indicated that the beer program would be focused on “a stable of English-style beers, such as an IPA, brown ale, amber ale with rye, as well as some seasonal and experimental beers.”
