COLLINGWOOD, ON – Side Launch Brewing has announced a recall for several batches of its flagship Side Launch Wheat.
According to a statement released yesterday by the brewery, “during routine quality taste panel sessions at the brewery, we noticed that Wheat beer packaged on certain dates has a strong tendency to sour if it is stored in a warm environment after leaving the brewery.”
Cans of Side Launch Wheat packaged on July 6, 7, 20, 21, 26, 27 and 28 are susceptible to the souring, and have been pulled from all retail chains. Customers with any cans of Wheat Beer packaged on those dates can contact the brewery via QA@sidelaunchbrewing.com or 705-293-5512 to arrange for their beer to be replaced.
