WOODSTOCK, ON – Southwestern Ontario is about to gain another craft brewery, with the opening later this week of Upper Thames Brewing in Woodstock.
Upper Thames Brewing has been founded by five partners – Carl Bloomfield, Moe Morris, Josh Bowes, Chad Paton and Frank Raso – with four of them being native residents of the city.
The brewery will be opening its taproom to the public for the first time on Thursday August 18th at 11:00 AM, and will be pouring four core brands – Blonde Ale, Brown Ale, India Pale Ale and Farmhouse Wheat – along with a seasonal American Pale Ale and several beers from other Ontario breweries.
Following the launch, taproom and store hours will be Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. All beers will be available in samples and 12 oz & 20 oz glasses, with Upper Thames beers also available in growlers to go.
