TORONTO, ON – Halo Brewery has announced details of a new limited edition beer that will be debuting tomorrow (Friday August 26th) at the brewery.
System Overload is described as follows:
An 8.0% Imperial IPA that was brewed and massively dry-hopped almost entirely (except a small bittering addition) with the highly coveted Citra hop, System Overload is intended to be a pure expression of this unique hop that is known for its juicy tropical, citrus and lychee fruit flavours. As a result of limited Citra hop availability, it is not expected that this beer will be brewed again until 2017.
System Overload will be released at 3:00 PM tomorrow, and will be available on tap and in bottles at the Halo taproom and retail store while quantities last. As with all beers from the brewery, its recipe has been posted online as part of Halo’s “open source” philosophy.
