TORONTO, ON – Beer educator and former opera singer Mirella Amato has announced that she will once again be combining her two passions for an event during next month’s Toronto Beer Week.
Taking place at the Monarch Tavern on September 21st and 22nd, Hopera Quartus is the fourth in the series of opera-meets-beer events presented by Amato.
Each evening will feature a selection of operatic arias, duos and trios performed by professional opera singers, with each performance paired with a local craft beer from breweries including Amsterdam, Black Oak, Double Trouble, Great Lakes, Junction, Nickel Brook, Side Launch, Steam Whistle and Walkerville. Each pairing will also include a short presentation about the musical selection and beer, and why they were chosen.
