HILLIER, ON – A new brewery from a veteran winemaker has launched its first beer in the heart of Eastern Ontario’s wine country.
As reported by Ontario Beverage Network, Strange Brewing Company unveiled its debut brand, Horntrip Juniper Pale Ale, at Kin Cafe in Bloomfield this past weekend.
The brewery has been founded by Dave Frederick, a winemaker with experience in both the British Columbia and Ontario wine industries. He is currently working as co-winemaker at By Chadsey’s Cairns Winery & Vineyard in Wellington while also launching his Strange Brewing project.
