SQUAMISH, BC – Howe Sound Brewing has announced details of three seasonal releases for fall, including two new brews and one returning favourite.
Back for another year is the ever-popular Pumpkineater Imperial Pumpkin Ale (7.5% abv, 25 IBU):
This pumpkin beer is brewed with natural pumpkin, a blend of spices and brown sugar. Using some biscuit and chocolate malt it really has all the flavours of pumpkin pie packed into a delicious glass of beer.
New to the seasonal line-up is Equinox Oak-Aged IPA (6.5% abv, 40 IBU):
The idea behind this beer was to create a truly autumn inspired IPA. So we made it a bit more malt forward, added some spicy, herbal, and citrus hops, and then aged it on toasted French Oak to give it a balanced woody complexity.
Finally, there’s the latest release in the Sea to Sky Series of limited edition beers, S2S Altbier (4.8% abv, 30 IBU):
This traditional German style Altbier has a pleasant malt body and subtle hop aroma. Clean caramel and bready notes give way to a refreshing crisp finish.
All three beers will be available at select liquor stores in British Columbia while supplies last.
