TORONTO, ON – Amsterdam Brewery has announced details of two seasonal favourites that are making return appearances this autumn.
Maverick & Gose is a 5.9% abv Gose-style ale that was originally developed 5 years ago as a collaboration with Great Lakes Brewery. New appearing as part of Amsterdam’s new quarterly FarmHouse Series, this year’s batch features a new brew that has been blended with an older version aged in Niagara Chardonnay barrels, and is described as having “refreshing acidity with notes of white peach and coriander.”
Autumn Hop is a 4.6% abv pale ale that is Amsterdam’s annual fresh hop harvest beer. It was brewed with local Cascade hops that were used in the brew within a few hours of being harvested, resulting in “a vibrant hop flavour and bold aroma unique to the Ontario region.”
Both beers are available now at the Amsterdam retail stores – Maverick & Gose in 650 ml bottles, Autumn Hop in 473 ml cans – with LCBO distribution to follow soon.
