FREDERICTON, NB – Picaroons Traditional Ales has announced details of a new one-off beer where they “didn’t know what would happen with (the) recipe and it actually turned out awesome!”
Spudnik Potato Stout is described as follows:
We’ve teamed up with the folks at BioNB and Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick, and brewed a new Stout with Russet Potatoes grown by Toner Farms in Grand Falls, New Brunswick. That’s right. POTATOES. This smooth and full bodied stout, hopped with Willamette & Goldings hops, rings in at an approachable 4.7% alc./vol.
Spudnik will be available tomorrow (September 30th) at Picaroons Brewtique in Downtown Fredericton, as well at the BioNB 20th Anniversary Celebration at the York St. Train Station.
