CALGARY, AB – Mill Street Brewery has announced that the newest location of the Mill Street Brewpub chain – and the first in Western Canada – will be opening next week in Calgary.
As confirmed last November, Mill Street Brewpub Calgary is located in the historic Costigan House at 219 17 Avenue SW, and is being operated in partnership with Calgary’s Creative Restaurants Group.
Head brewer Bennie Dingemanse has been working with Mill Street’s brewmaster Joel Manning to create a number of new beers for the Calgary location, and will be offering a rotating selection of exclusive brands alongside established favourites including Tankhouse Ale, 100th Meridian Organic Amber Lager and West Coast IPA.
On the food side, chef Sheldon Guindon and CRG’s executive chef Glen Manzer have developed a beer-friendly menu that “spotlights regional Western Canadian fare and includes collaborative yet casual favourites and distinctive “game-like” Canadiana dishes.”
Mill Street Brewpub Calgary will open to the public next Friday October 21st at 11:00 AM. Regular brewpub hours will be Monday to Thursday from 11 AM to 12:00 midnight, Friday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 AM, Saturday from 10:00 to 2:00 AM, and Sunday 10 AM to 12:00 midnight.
The brewery retail store will be open from 12:00 noon to 9:00 PM daily, with brewery tours each day at 4:00 PM.
