TORONTO, ON – Rainhard Brewing has announced the launch of a new series of barrel-aged beers, with the first one set to be released this weekend.
The first offering in the Rainhard Barrel Series will be Bourbon Barrel-Aged Hearts Collide, an 11% abv Imperial Stout that was brewed back in January and spent 9 months in Kentucky bourbon barrels.
To celebrate the release, Rainhard will be offering pours of four versions of Hearts Collide in its taproom tomorrow (Saturday October 15th): the original non Barrel-Aged version; the Barrel-Aged version on both standard draught and nitro; and a special cask of the Barrel-Aged version with coffee added. Two other dark beers will also be available – Sweetback’s Milk Stout and Nosbeeratu Black IPA – alongside core Rainhard brands Unfiltered Pilsner, Armed ‘N Citra, and Kapow! IPA.
A limited run of 500 ml bottles of Bourbon Barrel-Aged Hearts Collide will be available exclusively in the Rainhard bottle shop starting at 12:00 noon tomorrow, along with a limited edition brewmasters glass that has been designed specifically for tasting the Barrel Series releases.
