TORONTO, ON – Left Field Brewery has announced the return of a seasonal beer that was originally released to mark the opening of the brewery in early 2015.
Bricks & Mortar Coffee Porter is a 6% abv and 40 IBU robust porter brewed using coffee from Pilot Coffee Roasters, a roastery and coffee bar located in the same industrial complex as Left Field in Toronto’s east end. It’s described as follows:
Bricks & Mortar is our tribute to the brick industry upon which our neighbourhood was built along with our own evolution to becoming a physical brewery. Whole freshly roasted Ana Sora Ethiopian coffee beans are added to the beer during the final stages of conditioning for a gentle, cold extraction process resulting in a blend of rich milk chocolate, freshly picked strawberries and silky vanilla.
Bricks & Mortar is available now in 650 ml bottles and on tap at the Left Field taproom and retail store, and will remain in production throughout the autumn and winter.
