CALGARY, AB – The Dandy Brewing Company has announced the launch of a new Artist-in-Residency Program that is intended to “help support the development of visual arts in Alberta.”
As described in a press release:
The program is a 6-month residency, aimed at providing support for young and emerging artists. Through a monthly stipend and cross exposure from Dandy’s many public avenues, we hope to help bring more attention to the amazing art scene in our home province.
The first Dandy Artist-in-Residence is Kelsey Fraser, the artist responsible for the artwork on the brewery’s labels. She will be working on a number of projects in the coming months that Dandy will be involved in supporting and promoting.
