COBOURG, ON – William Street Beer Co. has announced that it is no longer in operation on its namesake street in Cobourg, and will be reopening in a new and larger location soon.
The closure and move were revealed yesterday in a blog post from brewery owner Sean Walpole, who noted that the new and larger facility at 975 Elgin St. W. – approximately 2 km north of the original 412 William St. location – will allow for a number of improvements:
In our new location, we will be able to provide a broader spectrum of products in our retail store, as well as a fully functioning tap room licensed for 12oz servings. In addition, we will be serving a menu of locally sourced food items, specifically designed to showcase everything that makes Northumberland County (and it’s talented artisans) great.
