MONTREAL, QC – Brewpub chain Les 3 Brasseurs/The 3 Brewers has announced details of its latest monthly rotating feature beer.
Known as La Belle Récolte (“The Beautiful Harvest”) in Quebec and The Harvest Ale in Ontario, the 6% abv and 35 IBU golden ale was brewed using Triple Pearl, Chinook, and Centennial hops from Houblonnière Lupuline for the Quebec market, and Colombus, Cascade, and Centennial hops from Bighead Hops at Ontario locations.
The resulting beer is described as follows:
A Canadian interpretation of a classic American Pale Ale brewed with freshly harvested hops. It’s characterized by a floral, fruity, citrus-like, piney, resinous, American-variety hops, producing medium-high bitterness, flavor and aroma. The Harvest ale displays a medium body and medium maltiness that includes a low caramel malt character.
