VICTORIA, BC – Spinnakers Brewpub has announced details of two limited edition brands that are being released this month, as well as a holiday-themed sampler pack.
Northwest Dark Sour Saison is the latest edition in the Spinnakers Brewers Reserve Series, with the following notes:
Aged in French and American oak barrels for 6 months and then dry hopped with a hefty dose of tropical Northwest hops, this dark sour saison has a lot going on! Brewers tasting notes include tropical, sour, funky, spicy and malty flavours.
Festive Spiced Saison will be released later in the month, and is described as a “rye saison spiced with ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves.”
The Spinnakers Advent Box contains 650 ml bomber bottles of 12 different beers, including several made especially for the package. As with other advent-themed beer collections, the names and styles of the beers haven’t been revealed in advance, and won’t be known until the package is purchased and opened.
