CALGARY, AB – Six months after pouring preview batches of its beers – brewed with the assistance of Dandy Brewing – for Calgary International Beerfest attendees, Common Crown Brewing has official launched.
Founded by twin brothers Damon and Andrew Moreau along with a third silent partner, Common Crown made its debut last Friday November 11th with the tapping of two of its flagship brands – Brewmaster Blonde Ale and Coppersmith Brown Ale – at Beer Revolution in Calgary.
Both beers will soon be available on tap at other local bars, and in 355 ml cans at liquor stores throughout Alberta. A taproom and retail store is currently under construction and will be opening soon at the Common Crown brewery (943 28 St. NE, Calgary).
For more details, see the Common Crown website and Facebook page, as well as profiles of the brewery published earlier this year at beer news websites On Beer and The Daily Beer.
