REGINA, SK – Bushwakker Brewpub has announced that this year’s vintage of the extremely popular Bushwakker Blackberry Mead – created using 400 pounds of Lumsden Valley honey and 84 pounds of blackberries per batch – will be going on sale Saturday December 3rd at 11:00 AM. Although as always, those hoping to get a bottle may want to show up a fair bit earlier than that to avoid being disappointed.
According to the event announcement, last year’s launch day has a line-up that started 15 hours before doors opened, with people braving the cold weather overnight to get their bottles.
For this year’s release, the first 80 people in line will have the chance to buy a “limited edition extra-aged 25th Bushwakker Anniversary Blackberry Mead.” There will also be limited edition Blackberry Mead t-shirts designed by local artist Gavin de Lint available for purchase, and free hot chocolate and trivia contest prizes for those in line.
Bushwakker Blackberry Mead will be available to purchase in 650 ml bottles, with price and sales limits still to be announced. It will also be on tap at the brewpub while supplies last.
