TORONTO, ON – Great Lakes Brewery has announced details of the 2016 edition of Hops For Hunger, an annual campaign to raise donations for the Daily Bread Food Bank.
For every purchase made at the Great Lakes retail store from December 1st to 22nd, the brewery will calculate a portion of the weight of the beer purchased, and donate a corresponding amount of money to Daily Bread.
In addition, customers are welcome to donate non-perishable food items, diapers and baby food to Daily Bread by dropping them off in the yellow bin located in the store. And further fundraising will be done via an auction of Ugly Christmas Sweaters created by GLB staff, with bids accepted online and at the GLB retail store starting December 5th.
