VICTORIA, BC – Spinnakers Brewpub has announced a partial reopening following last month’s fire, and has released details of the next release in its Brewers Reserve series.
As reported last week, the brewery and guesthouses at Spinnakers were not affected by the fire, but the brewpub was closed due to damage. While the upstairs restaurant remains closed indefinitely, the downstairs bar was cleared to reopen last week, and is now in operation from 11:00 AM to 12:00 midnight daily.
Available soon at the Spinnakers bar and retail store and other select liquor stores will be Bourbon Barrel Aged Extra Special Bitter, a version of Mitchell’s ESB that was “brewed with English malts, Noble hops and aged in freshly emptied bourbon barrels.” It will be available in 650 ml bottles and on tap while supplies last.
