EDMONTON, AB – The Winter 2016-17 issue of the Alberta Craft Beer Guide, a quarterly publication covering the craft brewing scene in the westernmost prairie province, is being launched this week.
The contents of this issue are described as follows:
The Winter Issue (#2) still features Alberta Brewery profiles including eight new brewery profiles, Edmonton & Calgary brewery maps, and “Soon-eries & Rumour-ies” section that touches on contract brewers and breweries in planning or under construction. New articles include IBU’s, ”The Truth of Loving a Beer Geek”, “Properly Storing Craft Beer,” and ”Words” article that explains beer terminology. The feature article moving this issue is on Bench Creek Brewing. Founder Andrew K. adorns the cover with a 4 page write up on how the brewery came to be.
The new issue will be officially launched tonight (December 6th) with a sold out ticketed event at The Common Restaurant in Edmonton, featuring a tap takeover of beers from seven Alberta breweries. The Calgary launch will follow on Wednesday December 14th with a free admission event from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at Banded Peak Brewing.
The new issue of the Alberta Craft Beer Guide will be available at breweries, liquor stores, bars and beer events throughout Alberta.
