VANCOUVER, BC – Powell Street Craft Brewery has announced details of a new beer that is intended to be “an experiment in contrast and deception.”
Contradiction is a 6% abv and 10 IBU dark sour ale that has been dry-hopped with Hallertau Blanc hops. It’s briefly described as follows:
We set out to create a dark ale that pours like a stout, has the aroma of an American IPA, and a taste that’s juicy and sour. It’s a puzzle that leaves you baffled all whilst craving more. Tasting notes: Light bodied – Sour – Tropical Fruit – Tamarind.
Contradiction will be released tomorrow (December 9th) in the Powell Street tasting room and retail store, with 650 ml bottles rolling out to local liquor stores next week.
