LANGTON, ON – A new brewery based in the small rural community of Langton in Ontario’s Norfolk County has announced the release of its first beer.
Hometown Brewing is a family-owned brewery and hops farm that is associated with EZ Grow Farms, which specializes in growing blueberries as well as strawberry nursery plants.
Given that background, it’s fitting that the first beer to be released by Hometown is a Blueberry Saison, which is described as follows:
Spice and clove characters from the yeast, accompanied by a light malt sweetness and crisp herbal hop character create a fresh and vibrant finish. The muddled blueberries contribute to a beautiful mauve haziness.
Hometown Blueberry Saison is available now at Devlin’s Advocate in Brantford and Devlin’s Bistro in Mount Pleasant, with more locations to be added soon. See the Hometown Brewing website for more details.
