TORONTO, ON – A one-off beer created by a group of Canadian brewers, bar owners and other beer industry professionals at Sierra Nevada Brewing‘s Beer Camp last August is now available at select locations in Ontario.
Brewed at Sierra Nevada’s North Carolina facility, The Eh! Team is a 7% abv saison with the following description:
The team decided to put a homegrown twist on the beer but avoid the gimmicky ingredients (so they left the maple syrup for the pancakes). Instead, they asked Canada’s first company dedicated to producing unique, liquid yeast cultures for beer, Guelph-based Escarpment Labs, for their unique Old World Saison Blend, and added a touch of spice (and Canadian colour) by throwing white and red (or rather pink) peppercorns into the brew. The result is a bubbly and dry farmhouse saison with delicate herbal and floral notes.
In addition to being featured alongside other Beer Camp collaborations at Sierra Nevada’s brewery pubs in North Carolina and California, a limited number of kegs of The Eh! Team have been sent to Ontario to be tapped exclusively at the bars that participated in the brew day, including the County Canteen in Picton, both Red House locations in Kingston, and in Toronto at beerbistro, Birreria Volo, Bar Hop and Indie Ale House.
