ABBOTSFORD, BC – Field House Brewing has announced the release of a new limited edition variation on a unique seasonal brand.
A batch of the brewery’s Salted Black Porter – a strong porter brewed with the addition of traditional Dutch salted licorice candies – was aged in a bourbon barrel, and the result is Bourbon Barrel-Aged Salted Black Porter, a 6.6% abv and 25 IBU ale described as having “all the same goodness as our Salted Black Porter, but with the added depth and rich flavour that comes from being infused with Kentucky Bourbon and American Oak.”
Bourbon Barrel-Aged Salted Black Porter is on tap now at the brewery, and will be available soon in a limited run of 750 ml bottles.
