VANCOUVER, BC – Powell Street Craft Brewery has announced the upcoming release three fruit-infused versions of a barrel-aged saison.
Saison Framboise, Saison Mangue and Saison Cassis – all 6.5% abv and 23 IBU – are described as follows:
We’ve brewed a classic Belgian saison and aged it in French oak barrels for 3 months. The spicy and fruity yeast character is complimented by the addition of three different fruits; local and intensely aromatic raspberries, juicy tropical mangoes and rich black currants.
The fruit trio will be released on Monday January 16th in limited runs of 650 ml bottles available at the brewery and select private liquor stores.
The beers will also be paired with fruit pies from The Pie Shoppe on January 23rd to 25th at the brewery, in recognition of National Pie Day on Monday January 23rd.
