WHITEHORSE, YK – Yukon Brewing is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2017, and the brewery will be honouring the milestone with a monthly series of limited edition releases in 650 ml bomber bottles.
Set to feature “six forgotten favourites and six brand new brews,” the January release in the series is Charming Or Tedious Maple Wee Heavy, a 7.1% abv Scotch ale brewed with maple syrup and described as “malt forward, creamy on the tongue, the maple syrup adds a nice sweet balance to the smokey peat finish.”
Subsequent releases in the series will be released around the beginning of each month, and will include the following:
February – Gold Panner Golden Ale
March – Breakfast At The Brewery Mimosa Kolsch
April – Discovery Honey ESB
May – Land Of The Tress Spruce Tip Ale
June – Deadman Creek Cranberry Wheat Ale
July – The Greatest Temptation Apple Dubbel
August – Sourdough Ale
September – The Ginger Who Loved Me Imperial Ginger Brown
October – (Name TBA) Maibock
November – Cuddly As A Cactus Chocolate Cherry Porter
December – (Name TBA) Winter Spiced Ale
The Yukon 20th anniversary beers will be available at select locations in the Yukon, British Columbia, Manitoba and Alberta while supplies last.
