GRAVENHURST, ON – Sawdust City Brewing has announced details of the next release in its Winewood Series of limited edition barrel aged beers that are “inspired by important events in the lives of ordinary people.”
Named after the mythical “third release and opus” of the equally mythical “transient rock” band Richard Fingers & The Handfuls, Hobo Jungle is described as follows:
This barrel-aged beauty is a blend of two different beer-styles aged for 20 and 24 months in Ontario red wine barrels then bottle conditioned for 3 months. Aromas of cherry, oak and barnyard funk lead into a malt forward sour ale with a very dry tannic finish and a deep russet-red colour.
Hobo Jungle will be released on February 9th in a limited run of 750 ml bottles exclusively at the Sawdust City retail store, and on tap at select locations in Ontario.
